Weird Aquariums – The Cruel Fish Funnel


This is one cruel aquarium.
While this aquarium in the lobby of a hotel in Beijing, seems like a pretty neat decoration, it has a dark side as well – that of a goldfish killer.
The conical tank is stuffed to the brim with goldfish, and are continually stocked from the top. By the time the fish reach the bottom (approximately 6 days), they are dead.
New fish replace the ones that are dead. [Via]

    I find this cruel and disturbing especially since I am a fresh and salt water fish collector. Goldfish or not they should still be allowed to live
