Aquarium Supplies – Loony Dudes
We recently came across this aquarium supplies shop tucked away in corner, near the Juhu Bus Depot in Mumbai.
For a change, this was the first aquarium supplies shop we have been to that had good natural lighting, and was extremely well organized, with whiteboards on top of each tank mentioning the names of the fish in that tank. Moreover, the owner, Ashish Bagla, himself appears to know exactly what he is talking about. My fears about where the neon tetras in our tank vanished were finally confirmed (I am now convinced that gentle fish that they are, would do best when kept in a separate tank).
A pretty good range of fish (among the better specimens of discus that I have seen for instance), this was also the first store I have been to in Mumbai which had a sea-horse, albeit in a rather small tank and single.
