4 Undeniable Reasons To Have A Fish Tank
Okay, so I thought hard,and came up with these 4 reasons which make keeping fish totally irresistable.
Reason # 1 – They don’t shred your bedsheet
I had a dog once, and though I still remember Candy with extreme fondness, my mother will never let me forget the time that Candy scratched her new bedsheet to shreds, and all because we left her alone at home for the evening. With fishes, you can be sure they are never going to do that – unless, you keep piranhas, and have the habit of dipping your bed sheets in blood. Then if you were to dip your bed sheets in the tank, God help you (a suggestion here – don’t even attempt to salvage the bedsheet from the tank). While on the topic, the fishes will never scratch that victorian bed post, etc. etc.
Reason # 2 – You Will Never Have To Go Looking For Them
Now this one is not entirely accurate as this post shows, but at least the chances of you having to scrape off your pet off the rear tyre is visibly reduced. My wife tells me about her turtle who used to wedge themselves between the wall and the cupboard. While, my neon blue gourami, managed to wedge itself into a shell, there is pretty much 2x1x1 worth of waterworld that they could gallavant around in.
Reason # 3 – You Can Stare At Them, And Never Get Bored
Now this one is truly fascinating. I could keep looking at their antics for hours (at least I think I can), and never get bored. There is always something new to expect – more so if you regularly replace the artifacts in your aquarium. After some time, you would be able to detect some almost human traits in them – much to their dismay I am sure. Beats watching the idiot box for sure.
Moreover, watching them is one of the most calming influences I know of (unless you keep those pesky ones which scoot around the place real fast). Look at them a little closer, and you’ll be able to see the delicate markings.
Reason # 4 – Brings Out the Interior Designer In You
Now, if you were ever, even remotely, considering a career in interior designing, where else could you get the chance to actually see your creations in real life, and be able to change them so often. At the end of it all, you might just end up only fit to designing the Sydney Aquarium, and its ilk, but by then the inevitable attraction for fishes would have set in, so you would love doing it.
